A’TEON Custom Cabinetry & Design Services...for Architects, Builders, Designers & Homeowners...

Transitional Cabinets

Our Process...

  • We start by determining your budget.  While everyone has a budget, it is often difficult to zero in on the total costs of your project.  So, we start from scratch.
  • All we require initially is a basic floor plan with dimensions of the interior space—walls, ceiling height, windows &  door location and where the proposed cabinetry will be placed.
  •  We also need to know the size and type of appliances. If you already have a design, that’s fine as well.  Of course, we need the style of cabinet, the type of finish you desire, paint or stain.

Moving Along...

  • We now focus strictly on the design aspects of your project.  We strive to assist clients in realizing their dreams and assist them in the selection, purchase, and most importantly, the installation process.  Experience has taught us creativity and enhancement of design, but our collaboration with only reputable, respectful, detail-oriented, and skilled cabinetmakers increases your complete satisfaction.
  • However, since your cabinetry is indeed one of a kind and custom made for you, every choice you make will be your decision.  As mentioned earlier our initial consultation and design is without fee.  This includes the basic design of your intended installation space, with your provided room dimensions.  Next, based on our initial design we will present you with several quotes from our custom cabinetmakers.  The process will take about two weeks.
  • This will provide you with a "ballpark" proposal for budgetary purposes, which gives a pretty good idea of your spending threshold.  Once you decide to move to the next step, our involvement becomes more significant.  Scope and accuracy is paramount as we move along in the process.  An initial good faith retainer of one thousand dollars is forwarded to your selected cabinetmaker, which is applied to the cost of your project.
